Singing trio Warafiki last Tuesday evening hosted close friends and the media for the premiere of their video for their latest single ‘Tetubafanana’.
The invite-only event was held at Fenon Entertainment offices in an industrial area and known for classic production, Fenon came in handy with the all-white setup and production of the event.
Guests started arriving at 7 pm and among them included artistes Crysto Panda, Levixone, Zuli Tumz, and Jowy Landa, among other guests. On their arrival, they were ushered into the constructed tent as the serving point was being readied. Many were seen ordering different cocktails of their choice as they waited to catch a glimpse of this video.
At 10 pm, Eyla, Tori, and Treezy took to the stage in glittering skimpy outfits and started performing.
Despite having only two songs in their career so far in less than a year they have been on the scene, the trio had a live session, first doing covers for some artistes they said inspired them.
They first performed A Pass’s ‘Kiss’ before doing ‘Oluvanyuma’ by Zuli Tumz who they invited on stage to be their vixen. They teased him while performing and you could clearly see his nervousness.
After that, they performed their first song on the scene titled ‘Bwekati’ and lastly ‘Tetubafanana’ as the crowd cheered them on. With this reception, they redid the song, pulling off different dance strokes that excited the crowd.
When the performances were done, the video was played on the screens. The colorful video was directed by Edrine Paul and has an interesting storyline.
When done, the ladies of the moment mixed and mingled with their audience, taking time off to take a few photos with fans.
