Why King Cindy still ‘ayokyayokya’

In another attempt to seemingly prove she’s still the King in the music industry, Ugandan dancehall artiste, Cindy on Sunday evening rocked revelers who turned for the 2oth edition of Roast and Rhyme event.

Cindy put on a remarkable show at the Bell Lager-sponsored event themed reggae ragga nyam nyam experience as she started her energetic performance with Selecta, which got the crowd on a frenzy, phone cameras to record the performance while dancing and singing along.

Clad in a white blazer and a brown playsuit, Cindy backed by her band performed covers of Grace Nakimera’s Kawonawo and Seyi Shay’s Right Now after which she walked down memory lane with One and Only, Boom party and Ayokyayokya, among others.

The lakeside experience at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo started with a saxophone performance from Happy Kyazze, to a reggae take off from Double Black and Abeeka Band, not forgetting Vyper Ranking’s hits like Sivawo and Take it slow.

King Michael also graced the show with hits like Muko Muko, Kwata Kwata, wandekela Omwana, Lido Lido, Bell and Nsiika among others. With their longstanding friendship, Jose Chameleone also joined him on stage briefly to show support.

The 20th anniversary celebrations of the quarterly picnic-esque experience organized by Swangz Avenue, was marked by a beautiful display of fireworks amidst cheers and pure enjoyments.

To let the good times flow, Bell Lager created a special enjoyments park for all Bell Lager lovers, a live art mural, exciting Bell Lager offers and more to make the experience yet more memorable.
