Etania Mutoni is among the new crop of deejays whose rise to fame came during the lockdown and her consistency and steady progress is taking her places. For example last Friday, Etania was the headlining deejay during the Tusker Lite Neon Rave that happened at H20 Bar in Kololo.
Not even the Lent and fasting season could stop partygoers from attending the futuristic-themed night out in big numbers.
The hangout was transformed into an entirely creative and innovative way as attendees were seen immersed in a world where music, art, fashion, and vibes intersected upon entry to the venue.
The event featured different activities, including virtual reality experiences that had some people delve deep into the realm of futurism, which tied it back to the immersive nature of the Neon Rave. There were others whose obsession was on the PlayStation and they spent the entire night switching pads.
Derrick Aine, Top Boy MC, and Viana Indi, kept taking on the hosting duties while deejays Slick Stuart, DJ Banks, DJ Elisha, and Wizzy 256 handled the mixing.
It was, however, Etania, the self-proclaimed Life of the Party who kept the audience on their feet. Before she took to the turntables, Etania displayed her dancing skills to the excitement of the crowd. She even gave two dancers a run for their money with some dance moves and when she went to the deejay set, her choice of music was clearly what the audience wanted to listen to. Her selection mostly included Amapiano.
Dance Mamweta on the other hand was also a whole vibe. She too stole the spotlight with her amazing dance choreography and futuristic moves on the neon-lit stage which left many impressed.
The Neon Rave will be taking the same electrifying experience to other regions of the country, especially to Mbarara and Gulu.
The Tusker Lite Neon Rave is a celebration of individuality, creativity, and living life to the fullest. It is the perfect opportunity for partygoers to “turn on their lite”
