To stage a concert in Uganda, you either have to have a top charting hit, a big catalogue, experience or a good marketing strategy. Vinka has at these. Last year, she had some of the biggest songs, has been doing music for eight years and is signed to Swangz Avenue, one of the biggest record labels in East Africa.
However, with all these under her sleeve, Vinka has not yet had a concert and with all these, some people, especially her fans are demanding a concert from the label.
During an event that she attended a few days ago, Vinka was asked whether she will have a concert this year but she just laughed it off. We, however, sought out someone from the label whose identity we cannot reveal who said the artiste might not have a concert this year because it is not in Swangz’ annual calendar plan.
