Dokta Brain to celebrate 10 years of songwriting

Dokta Brain

Ten years ago, Geoffrey Nkwanga started a career in Uganda’s music industry. Not as a singer but a songwriter. When he made his debut, was tusslinge it out with some of the best in the game, including the late Mowzey Radio, Nince Henry and Yesse Oman Rafiki.

Thanks to songs such as Musawo and Magic by Nwagi, Kisaasi Kimu, Binkolera and Beera Nange by Sheebah, among others. He also wrote for other people before trying out his luck at singing. Despite rolling out a few solo songs and others with his singing partner Hatem, Dokta Brain still treasures where he started from and come June this year, he will be celebrating 10 years of songwriting with a concert.

“My celebration will feature brands that I have been working with,” he said. He also revealed that he is planning on a seven-track EP featuring 14 rising vocalists, which he hopes to release this year as well.
