A circulating document made the rounds last week regarding the postponement of the B2C concert scheduled for May 10, but Enock Katete, the singing group manager, refuted the document as fraudulent.
“We are preparing for the concert. It is happening and nothing or no one can stop it. The poster doing the rounds is just blackmail but we cannot be moved by such,” he earlier said during a phone call.
However, the group has confirmed that the concert has indeed been rescheduled for a date that will be announced shortly.
“To our esteemed fans, it’s with heartfelt regret that we would like to inform you of the postponement of our concert that was slated for 10th 2024. A new date will be communicated as soon as it’s available,” reads the document that the group management shared with us.
On May 10, Mbarara-based artiste Ray G also plans on holding a concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, and it is believed it’s because of the tension that the trio decided to postpone their show.
In the past, the singing trio has clashed with other artistes on concert dates. They clashed with Juliana Kanyomozi last year and with Tarrus Riley a few years ago but both times, they had successful concerts.
