UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert back on

Ali Campbell

The UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert that was scheduled for the 21st of December 2023, at Kololo Airstrip but did not happen due to unavoidable circumstances is back on.

This concert is now scheduled to happen on March 3, 2024, at Kololo Airstrip. This was discussed yesterday in a closed-door meeting between Talent Africa and Next Media who are the main organizers of the show.

We couldn’t get much from what transpired in the meeting but information we gathered is that all tickets purchased before the event are still valid. There will be no more buying of tickets for those who already have.

In a released statement, the reason for the postponement of the concert last year was because of a certain event that had to happen at Kololo airstrip a day before.

“It is with sincere regret and disappointment that we announce the unexpected postponement of the UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert scheduled for the 21st day of December 2023 at the Kololo Independence Grounds due to an unforeseeable event at the same venue that is beyond our control,” read part of the statement.

The said event was the 1st Deputy Prime Minister of Uganda Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga’s book launch.
