After successfully filling up Africana people’s space last year, artiste Fik Fameica punched above his weight last Friday evening by holding yet again another successful concert at Cricket Oval.

Said to be the last concert by a local artiste at the venue before it is renovated, Fameica’s concert was attended by big numbers thanks to the joint efforts of Unik Star Agency and KT promotions.

The ordinary section had more numbers compared to the VIP section which had huge gaps at the back. Fik Fameica stepped on stage at 10 pm after a short showcase by Wembley Foundation kid dancers. Before them, supporting acts including Levixone, Kid Dee, Mickie Wine, Dax Vibes, and, Green Daddy among others had entertained the crowd.

Fik Fameica started his performance with ‘Mbega Wa Bala’, one of his first songs in his career before proceeding with others like Love Love, Different, Kanzunzu, Teacher with Ykee Benda, Ndi Byange, and My Guy alongside Big Tril among others in his first session. He then left the stage for Vyroota and Victor Ruz who each did two songs.

In the second session, Fameica did ‘Pistol’, ‘Kachima’, ‘Fresh and Clean’, ‘Gwe Abisobola’ with Byaxxy before Vinka joined him to do ‘Tubikole’. But in the second session, he literally just sampled the songs as time was not at his side.

In his final session, he performed ‘Champion’, ‘Kutama’, ‘Property’, ‘Majje’ twice with Azawi, ‘Byenenya’, ‘Mafia’ with Navio, and climaxed with Bwepaba alongside Sheebah at 12:45 am.
