He may not have made it to the Top 20 list that night, but that did not kill his creative spot that evening. Feffe Busi was the ideal man to crown the Top 20 countdown night last Friday at Design Hub.
The evening that had mainly music producers, DJs, radio personalities and media, was organised by Bell Lager in recognition of the artistes and songs that did well last year.
Among the jams that made it to the countdown was Bankuza, Sconto, Olina Work, Chips na Ketchup, Very Well, Turn The Replay. Amid the countdown, the evening’s hosts Deedan and McKenzie asked the audience for their views on the songs’ positions and general opinions on the music industry and artistes.
There were also performances from Kent and Flosso, John Blaq, and Vinka, but it was Feffe Bussi’s moment on stage that stole the night.
The self-proclaimed smallest rapper went on stage and free-styled, dropping line after line as he picked on random people from the audience, musicians and the bar area.
Selector Jay was the man ‘managing’ the countdown and before doing the last segment, he threw in a bit of a 10-year challenge where he played flashback songs, including Klear Kut’s All I Wanna Know, which had many screaming in The Mith’s direction.
The top five songs from the Bell Jamz Top 20 coundown were 5. Wankona (Sheebah) 4. Biri Biri (King Saha) 3. Matala (Winnie Nwagi) 2. Mateeka (Chameleone) 1. Kyarenga (Bobi Wine).
