Sam Gombya
Having been on radio for more than 20 years, Sam Gombya has decided to return to where it all started – music. The ‘Ssebo Muko’ singer has decided to resurrect his band known as Josamz.
“Josamz stands for Joseph and Sam and we started this band more than 20 years ago but because of our busy schedules, we gave it a break. I had to concentrate on radio while Joseph went to South Africa to work but since he is back for good while I also have time now, we decided to put all our focus on the band again,” said Sam Gombya.
Joseph is Gombya’s childhood friend.
The former Kampala city deputy mayor added that they are currently under immense rehearsals as they wait for gigs. So far, they have a booking in February.
