RED CARPET PERFECT: There was an enviable red-carpet display as the stars stepped out in their best fashion choices for the night.
The 81st edition of the Golden Globes ushered in the award season for 2024, with the ceremony bringing out quite an enviable red-carpet display as the stars stepped out in their best fashion choices for the night.
While majority of the stars such as Emma Stone, Cillian Murphy and Ali Wong won big when it came to the main show, others such as Jennifer Lopez, Jeremy Allen White and Selena Gomez were already winning with their fashion choices the moment they stepped onto that red carpet at the Beverly Hilton, in California.
Here are some of my favourite looks from the affair.
- Jennifer Lopez in Nicole + Felicia
There is no doubt that Miss JLO was the belle of this ball in her baby pink gown that was accentuated with a cape that featured huge rosettes splashed across the back. She kept the accessories on this look colour coordinated and elegant, which makes this look an absolute stunner. She looked divine and was undoubtedly the best dressed person there.
- Selena Gomez in Armani Privé
The singer and actress chose a red asymmetrical dress with cut-outs that was also accentuated with black rosette details. She kept her hair sleeked back and chose to colour coordinate her shoes, giving her a youthful, but stunning overall look.
- Jeremy Allen White in Calvin Klein
The actor was undoubtedly one of the best dressed men with his relaxed suiting all-black ensemble, that was easy on the eye, but also made quite the statement. The double-breasted tuxedo look was styled with a button-down sheer shirt, adding a bit of mystery to the ensemble. This was an effortless fashion win.
- Lenny Kravitz in Alexander McQueen
Another version of red-carpet suiting was this black jumpsuit that was created to give the illusion of a tuxedo, and even featured a cut-out back. If you are looking for an ensemble that will set you apart on the red carpet, then a look like this would be a great start. You can style these with boots just as Lenny did, to keep that edge with the ensemble going.
- Barry Keoghan in Louis Vuitton
The actor brought some much-needed spice when it came to the men’s red-carpet fashion served with his red punk inspired suit by Louis Vuitton. This look was a winner, because it was both unexpected, effortless and also red carpet ready, without a doubt. It is also a great way to step out looking different if you are looking to pull off something fresh for an event like this.
