This year’s edition of the annual Tugende Mukikadde in collaboration with the Elderly Network Foundation is going to be special with a special stage strictly designed in retro fashion.

According to Ibrahim Ssebatta of Kadanke brand house who are going to be producing the show that is happening on tonight Saturday, December 2, at Kampala Serena Hotel, they want to dedicate the whole production especially the stage to how far the industry has come.

“A lot of creativity has been put in other areas at previous editions of Tugende Mukikadde but on this particular event, we are setting up a stage that you have probably never seen. The stage is going to appear like a radio cassette. Remember those radios that our parents used to have? Those cassettes that grew us? That is how the stage is going to appear,” said Ssebatta during a press conference at Serena on Wednesday.

This edition known as ‘father mother edition’ has discounted tickets that are going for Shs150,000 which is a package for father/mother apart from the general ones that are going for shs100,000 per person.

During the press conference, Ngoni represented by Ayde said they are excited to be coming back on stage after over ten years without performing.

The last press conference of the event that is sponsored by NTV and Spark TV had artistes like Gerald Kiwewa, Mariam Ndagire, Qute Kaye and Ayde representing.
