It’s disrespectful to me and Muhoozi to claim he fathered my child, says Juliana

Ugandan Musician Juliana Kanyomozi

After giving birth to her second child, social media street talkers speculated on the father of songbird Juliana Kanyomozi’s new-born baby with unverified claims suggesting the first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba was responsible.

Several months later, the talented musician has for the first time made it clear that rumors were baseless.

“I found it disrespectful for both me and the general. I had never met him physically in my entire until recently at a job in Soroti but because I know how social media works, it has become a trend to come up with stories for likes and comments,” Juliana said in an interview aired on Sunday.

“…but what they don’t realize is that sometimes these things affect people in their personal lives and private lives,” she said during her Tusker Conversations.

Without necessarily revealing more details, Juliana added that she has a family and her child has who she described as a “wonderful father.”

“Imagine him reading that stuff. I found that very disrespectful but I tend to ignore it because at the end of the day life is life. You can’t control people so long as people in your life know who you are and love you,” she noted.
