The Christmas festivities usually start in December but not at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, which celebrates early Christmas with its clients and associates every year in November and the whole-month’s celebrations started last week on Tuesday with a number of activities.

It was that time of the year that patrons gathered to talk about a number of issues that have transpired within the year as they look forward to 2024.

Besides getting to know each other, the invite-only event had clients and patrons winning among other things, a weekend for two in the presidential suite at the hotel, which was the biggest reward for the evening, a weekend in the diplomatic suite, dinner in different restaurants at the hotel, massage treats and cakes at temptations.

All one needed to do was to submit their business cards at the entrance and then be handed a number that was read after the raffle draw.

The emcees of the evening, Rachael K and Maurice Mugisha, were up to the task as they kept the audience engaged and participating in different topics throughout the evening and made sure every guest got the opportunity to feast and drink away from the hotels array of food and drink choices.

While speaking at this occasion, Sheraton Hotel’s General Manager Jean-Philippe Bittencourt commended guests, partners and friends for honouring his invite and promised to deliver to the best of their abilities in the coming years.

He added that the celebrations mark the beginning of the people’s favourite season and it was at this point that he invited some guests to cut cake.

The evening was not all about speeches and winning, it was spiced up with entertainment from Ivuga Band, which kept guests on their feet as they performed cover songs.
