Drip, drip, drip. That is what this video represents for me. It represents an African elegance, a step into the magical Africa. In a way, it also represents a certain stage in life, a step over, some new direction, breath of new air. The magic is in the ease with which it is executed.
There is no struggle, no tension, everybody is ‘easy’ with nothing to prove. You know the kind where all characters are smooth, in sync, and they are just expressing beauty.
Azawi comes off as some modern goddess of renaissance, Bensoul is the guy to cheer you on, Elijah sparks off that secure masculinity. And the costuming, yes, it does everything. That vixen, that tailor, the African print. The video lives up to its name, it elevates you, in such a carefree way. It is soft on the eyes, soft and pure for the viewer. You will be elevated.
