Azawi bossing Apple top 100

Just two weeks after the release of her album, Ugandan musician Azawi is in the Apple top 100.

Her Sankofa album is getting all the necessary attention it deserves because among the top 100 songs, the Swangz Avenue artiste has 13 songs on the list.

On Azawi’s 16-track album, 13 tracks have already debuted on the Apple Music Top 100 playlist while the album is ranked No.1 in the region, beating Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs’.

Summer Bae with Konshens comes in at number 2, elevated alongside Elijah Kitaka and Mike Kayihura comes in at number 4, Harder with Elijah is number 7, Njagala vibe with Sauti Sol on number 8, Champion is number ten, Egaali is 11 while her Infinity is 13, Brand new 14, Married Man 15, 17 is Lucky Day, Ten Over Ten is 19, Outside is 22, Sankofa intro is 25, Money is 29 while My God comes in at number 30.

When you look at how the album is playing out, Azawi has five songs on the top ten which proves people are really listening and appreciating this album.

She will be having her concert next week at Kampala Serena hotel and this will be her second concert since she joined Swangz Avenue four years ago.
