Sue Ochola is often referred to as an art collector, champagne connoisseur and fashion lover, but beyond that she was once a beauty queen – Miss Kampala in 1997.

With her passion for fashion, the 43-year-old opened up a clothing line a few days ago known as UG Resort Line at the opulent Latitude 0 poolside.

Just like Sue Ochola’s previous events, this one attracted quite a number of guests, including fellow socialites, celebrities and friends and the brunch was more of a moment for old friendships to rekindle.

The launch was a remarkable event, with hip hop artiste Atlas Da African putting up a splendid performance with songs such as Ahh Ahh Ahh, My Baby and Still, among others.

There was also a performance by Ubuntu Cultural Troupe and the soulful tunes of Angel and The Band, entertaining the guests during several intervals.

Away from the entertainment and the chit chat, guests at the brunch had an assortment of food to choose from; local, African, Asian and exotic cuisines.

UG Resort Line features collectable swimwear and kaftans, each piece serving as a tribute to the profound beauty of Ugandan culture and the majestic Crested Crane, an emblem of the nation.
Sue Ochola said the inspiration behind this grand festivity is to pay homage to and applaud the resilience and independence of women throughout Uganda.
