- Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am Abu Sufian Kimbugwe, a 23-year-old from Masanafu and they call me the “Masanafu Buoy”. I am also a graduate of Makerere University (BBS) and a salesman.
- How did you find out about the CEO (Chief Enjoyments Officer) campaign?
I got to know about the campaign during a get-together for a friend of mine called Eric who had just gotten back to town. We were at Kenji’s and there was a Bell CEO activation – where one of the brand ambassadors explained it to me and I sent in my submission.
- What made you think you were the right person for the role?
To me, it’s all about doing what you love. My people call me “Saabavulu Balaam”, “the vibe master”, “the stress killer” and “the Empere Master” because I organise vibes for them.
I also believe I am right for it because I always do the right thing and have a supportive family, in addition to having the Lord on my side.
- What has your experience been throughout the campaign?
The experience for me has been a bit challenging, although it helped me start seeing things from a different perspective. I also made new friends who will soon upgrade to family, and the campaign has alsoopened more doors of opportunity for me.
- Now that you are the CEO, what are you looking forward to as part of this role?
It’s basically anything that has enjoyments in it and can promote the brand as well.
