David Lutalo promises tight security at ‘Nalongo’ concert

David Lutalo usually held his concerts in January every year but after the lockdown, he shifted it to September after the disruptions of Covid 19 that had the industry on lockdown.

Last year he held a concert Africana people’s space switching from Lugogo Cricket Oval where he has held most of his shows. With the with going back to its normalcy after the pandemic, the ‘Kabisi Kandagala’ artiste has decided to return to his usual venue – Cricket Oval.

During a press briefing at Papaz Spot Makindye, Lutalo announced that he is going to be staging his concert on the September 29, 2023 at Cricket Oval, Lugogo. During the same briefing, the singer assured his fans that like all the previous concerts, they will be getting the best experience ever.

Regarding security, the Da Hares proprietor promised that Uganda police will be teaming up with other security organs to ensure everyone’s safety on the day.

“We have received assurance from Police and other security agencies that they are going to beef up security to the maximum. I request anyone intending to disrupt peace on that day to look for other places to do it,” he said.

The press briefing was also attended by some of the artistes who will be performing at the concert. Some of these included, King Saha, Mesach Semakula, Spice Diana, Zafaran, Flona and Shakira Shakira among others.
