Zani Lady C releases ‘Maria’ visuals

Zani Lady C

Releasing a song is one thing and shooting a good video is another. Singer and Hollywood actress Zani Lady C a Ugandan based in California has finally released the visuals for the song ‘Maria’. The audio of the song was released a few months ago but the video dropped on the singer’s YouTube channel on Monday evening.

‘Maria’ rhymes like ‘Ndoowa’, a song Zani Lady C did many years ago and it was liked by many. In the video, the scenes are eye-catching and the song matches with the video. ‘Maria’ is a love song that relates to love triangles, where a woman (Maria) dumps her boyfriend because he is not financially stable. He moves on and finds a new lover (Lady Zani C) who stands by him until he is financially well off. ‘Maria’ then turns around, and wants him back but it’s too late as Zani tells her that love is patient.

The scenes in the video show exactly what the script says and as the song starts, a woman (Maria) knocks at a mansion’s gate and at the balcony, it is Zani Lady C asking the gate person to allow her in. On arrival at the house, it was Zani Lady C slopping to meet “Maria” but in the company of her boyfriend who happens to be Maria’s ex.

When the two met at lunch, Maria had perhaps come to peacefully claim back her man but Zani Lady C was already the rightful owner after the man being badly treated by “Maria”, and now, cannot go back because Zani Lady C takes good care of him.

Zani Lady C confirms ‘Maria’ was written by her in lockdown although she chose to release it later. Besides ‘Maria’, she has songs like ‘Nzembiteleza’, ‘Nindako’, ‘Ndoowa’,’ Chimalo’ featuring Jackie Chandiru, and ‘Golo Golo’ among others.
