Laika
If you do not know Laika, this video happens to be that full introduction to Laika. It takes place in a home setup, precisely most of the scenes play out at her dressing table. The video shots are taken from the mirror reflections (which in a way breaks up the visual monotones).
From there on, Laika and her two backups break out into a simplified dance (again not much struggle with this). The peak of the video is when she descends from the stairs as though to announce her arrival to her lover.
You will be drawn to the visual character of Laika, the simplicity and innocence in her eyes. But will you be drawn to the video? Perhaps yes, perhaps not. There is just something missing and one cannot exactly say what. But if you are impressed by simplicity, then this video could pass for you.
