I want to provide what I was never provided with – Sheebah

Sheebah Karungi

A music label known as Karma Music is the latest addition to Sheebah Karungi’s chain of businesses. The artiste launched it earlier this week.

According to the artiste, it is the first female owned music label in Uganda, and her aim is to mentor upcoming artistes to achieve their goals.

“I want to provide something that I was never provided with. I have made a lot of mistakes in the industry that I wouldn’t want upcoming talents to make,” Sheebah said in a press conference.

Asked why it took her this long, the ‘Nkujukira’ singer said she had to learn about this business first, gain experience and get the finances to dive straight into it.

To make her case, she has opened up submissions for all to be part of her label and what one needs to do is record a minute and under video of themselves singing to their favorite songs and then send them to her social media platforms to stand a chance of being signed under Karma Music.
