Musicians Naava Grey, Fik Fameica, Chosen Becky and producer Artin Pro have been given more responsibility in the industry after Sheebah Karungi brought them on board of her newly formed Karma Music label.

Sheebah Karungi launched her own record label at a press conference held at Terrace Bar and Restaurant at Acacia Avenue in Kampala. The label is aimed at discovering and propelling fresh and existing talent in the industry.

While speaking at the launch, Sheebah said she has been preparing for this day for a very long time and not to be a dictator, she has decided to have other key player’s opinions in the decision making of the label.

“I have a number of artistes who are going to be helping me out in the process of selecting these artistes. I have artistes like Fik Fameica, Naava Grey, Chosen Becky and producer Artin Pro who are going to help me sieve these artistes,” Sheebah said.

She added that the judges will serve as mentors, writers, and producers, guiding the participants through the different stages of the music industry.

The best artistes will be signed under Karma Music label and among the benefits they will be getting include studio sessions, video shoots and brand image development among others.

What participants need to do is record a video of themselves singing and then submit the video to her social media platforms.
