Awilo Longomba arrives for the ‘Legends of Sound’ Concert

Legendary Congolese musician, Awilo Longomba landed in Uganda last evening ahead of the highly anticipated ‘Legends of Sound’ concert at Kampala Sheraton Hotel Kampala this Friday.

To welcome him at the airport were Talent Africa Group CEO, Aly Allibhai and Afrigo Band Lead Manager, Mr. James Wasula. In addition, there were some media personnel.

The much-anticipated concert aims to celebrate the remarkable 48-year journey of the Africa Band in the music industry. Both Afrigo Band and Awilo Longomba are geared up to deliver a musical experience like never before.

The ‘Legends of Sound’ concert promises an eclectic mix of Afro beats, Rumba, Jazz, Lingala, and other classics. This offers music lovers an unforgettable night of musical excellence.

In addition to Awilo Longomba and the Afrigo Band, the concert’s lineup includes other outstanding Ugandan acts. These include Ragga Dee, Mesach Semakula, DJ Alberto, and the charismatic Abbey Mukiibi as the official host.
