Hip-hop star Navio is set to celebrate 2 decades in the music industry on September 2, 2023, at the Kampala Sheraton Gardens produced by Talent Africa.
Dubbed “20 Years of Navio“, this exceptional event promises a fusion of top-tier Ugandan talent, nostalgia, and Navio’s signature hits.
In a press conference held at the venue yesterday morning, Aly Allibhai, Talent Africa Group Chief Executive Officer gave an assurance that this is going to be one of the best shows he is going to ever produce.
“We have worked with Navio and we’ve shared countless experiences over the years and of course, an opportunity to jump on his 20 years concert is a no-brainer. Navio is my brother, we’ll always support each other’s businesses. Talent Africa will ensure a great production and we’ll fill this place up like we did a few weeks ago. Navio will bring his A-game and we’re excited to work with him to bring his visions to life come 2nd September,” Aly said.
Navio on the other hand extended his heartfelt gratitude to every sponsor, promoter, and media house that has lent their unwavering support to the ’20 Years of Navio’ concert.
“This milestone marks a remarkable journey that has shown me that it’s not always about being the most talented, but it’s about connecting with the community. And community outreach has been a driving force for me to make a meaningful impact beyond the stage. In this journey, no one can guarantee the years we have while performing, but I’m committed to giving two to three hours of undiluted energy and passion during every performance. I’m anticipating a show that will be nothing short of amazing. I hope to be remembered as a Rubaga boy who embraced music and cherished his country. Let’s celebrate this milestone together,” He said.
