Ugandan raising artiste Vere Paul has made a comeback with a new single dubbed ‘Vumilia’.
Vere Paul is a Ugandan singer and songwriter majoring in Gospel and Inspirational music.
“Vumilia” is a Swahili word translated to English as persevere; trying to do or continue doing something in a determined way, despite difficulties.
“This is a message to recorgnize every hustler out there. I personally I prefer singing my experience. The hard and painful life I went through while growing up. The tough and hard times I went through,” Vere Paul said ahead of the release.
The Afropop and R&B single flaunts the Vere Paul’s flawless lyricism and laced with undertones of Afro-Dancehall sound, all done by renowned music producer Nessim Pan Production.
The song’s music video directed by Frank Wallet sees Vere Paul bring out his element as a famous businessman, with an urge of championing positivity and hardwork in the community.
Vere Paul’s debut songs; Nikumbuke, Olutalo Luno, and All To You, partly created him an introduction into the industry, followed by his 2022 single “Hullo Mama” that paved his way to the latest magic in “Vumilia”.

Vere Paul started singing at an early stage in school but made his first professional recording in 2013 at Audio One Studios with popular Ugandan producer Paddy Man with song “Uganda Yani?”
