Miss Pride Africa UK to do charity in Uganda

Miss Pride of Africa UK, Princess Victoria Nakato, is in the country and will be doing charity work at Butabika children’s ward resettlement scheme, we have learnt.

Besides the charity works, Princess Nakato and the Miss Pride of Africa UK team will be embarking on the journey to Uganda for the mental health awareness campaign through school drives, media houses and small organisations etc.

Princess Nakato is a 20-year-old young student and mental health advocate who is a member of BAME, a mental health charity based in Liverpool, UK. She is using her reign to impact change through her mental health awareness campaign. Since being crowned on November 26, 2022, Nakato has embarked on her charitable expedition, duties, attended events as a guest speaker to advocate for mental health.

Miss Pride of Africa UK is a unique pageant with a mission to improve the image of the African woman and it is fostered to promote African beauty, unity, talent and heritage.
