Local artiste Donozio Ainebyoona aka Donz Entuuha was found dead dumped on the roadside in Kacence cell Kakyika ward Mbarara City North Monday morning.
According to his friends, Donz Entuuha went missing on Saturday evening after leaving home at 2 pm for the studio. They further noted that he left the studio at 6 pm and hadn’t seen him until his body was found at the Mbarara Regional referral hospital mortuary.
“He left home on Saturday at 2 pm for the studio and then left us in the studio at 6 pm. From then on, he disappeared missing until yesterday when we found his body at Mbarara Regional referral mortuary during the search. We were told the body was found by police lifeless alongside the road in Kacence Kakyiika,” said Fred. Amutuhaire alias Rwankunyonyo a friend and employer of the deceased.
Rwankunyonyo says he is bothered by his employee’s death since there is no clear cause of the employee’s death. He has asked the police to come up with credible information.
“Donz was my employee and he was like my son to me. His death has shaken us because we have not gotten clear information about the cause. We do not know how he died because he was a non-violent person. We have filed statements and are asking the Police to do a thorough investigation about our friend’s death,” he said.
Beazine ZJ a media personality and a friend who collaborated with Donz Entuuha on the ‘Omugogo’ song says he was saddened by his friend’s death. He then questioned his mysterious death calling it unfair as he described his friend as a calm person stating that there is no reason he would die in such a manner.
“Donz left home on Saturday, on Sunday his boss and a friend Rwankunyonyo called me asking if I had seen him and that his wife was looking for him since he did not go back on Saturday night, then today morning, I received a call that Donz’ dead body was found at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital mortuary,” said Beazine Zj.
He added, “Dons and I became friends in 2018 from the Rwankunyonyo studio. We later recorded songs together. I am saddened by his death, Donz and I worked harmoniously together, he was not a bargoer and wasn’t a violent person.”
Donz Entuuha was a writer and a recording artiste who broke through in 2019 with the song ‘Omugogo’. At the time of his death, he had recorded a song titled ‘Malaika‘.
