Ugandan rapper, Gravity Omutujju in under fire for assaulting a deejay during one of his performances over the weekend.
In a video clip that is doing rounds on social media, the ‘Kwepicha’ artiste, real name Gereson Wabuyi, is seen asking the deejay what he’s doing to him before aiming a microphone at him vowing to beat him up.
“What are you doing?…. What are you playing?….I will beat you up…. is that how I sing…is that how I sing everyday”? Gravity was heard ranting.
Following the video recording, a section of social media users described the 30-year-old musician’s actions as unacceptable.
Brave Isaac on twitter said Gravity has no right to do that to anyone doing their job.
Ramadhan Al-hudir said ‘That guy is violent’
“I think Gravity is right and everyone has rights to express his or her feelings as long as you don’t hurt or harm anyone and that is where he went wrong,” Handsome Gishu said.
“This is totally wrong. There are better avenues to handle such technical issues,” deejay Cloz.
“This is unacceptable gravity should be arrested ASAP and I’m going to make a follow up on this to see it accomplished. We can be in a society where some individuals think they are untouchable,” Sentongo Mukisa.
