Musician Patrick Mulwana alias Alien Skin announced in a press conference that he will perform in a concert dubbed “Sitya Danger Concert”. The ‘Sitya Danger’ hitmaker first announced the concert on his Facebook page in a post that read, “On 9th of this month all roads lead to freedom city in ‘Sitya Danger’ concert ffena tubeyo security Tight #sityadangerconcert”.

Most of his followers didn’t believe it as they believed it was just a joke to get back at Pallaso after their altercation.

The two musicians were involved in a scuffle which led to one (Pallaso) assaulting the other (Alien Skin) over allegations of disrespect. Pallaso and Alien Skin became newsmakers after a video recording of their scuffle became viral on social media on Monday, May 29. They also became a topic on social media and in the mainstream media, especially regarding musician indiscipline.

Alien Skin’s maiden concert will fall on the same date as Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso will also stage his concert dubbed ‘Love Fest’ scheduled to happen at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

What started as a rumour was confirmed on Monday, June 5, when Alien Skin announced to the media that he would stage his maiden concert.

While speaking to journalists at the Fangone Forest Entertainment office in Makindye, Alien Skin confirmed what he had earlier posted on his social media platforms. Alien Skin said he would be at Freedom City Mall in Namasuba on June 9, 2023, for his “Sitya Danger Concert”.

“The plan is there, we have the music, security will be available and Fangone Forest will spearhead the preparations with the support of our friends, the promoters who understand the business,” said Alien Skin.

“The tickets are ready and we are about to put them on sale. Preparations are moving fast. It began as a joke, but I realised we could do it and beat them,” he said.

Asked why he decided to hold the show at Freedom City, Alien Skin replied that it was the only available venue on June 9, because it is a public holiday.

Misunderstandings and beefing among musicians in Uganda have pushed many to organise concerts on the same dates with their nemeses. Some of them have also gone the extra mile to have musical battles like the famous “Battle of Champions” between Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine.

Alien Skin is one of those artistes who rose to fame during the COVID-19 Lockdown with their music pushed by social media platform Tik Tok. Some of his songs that brought him to the charts include ‘Sitya Danger’, ‘Lockdown’, and ‘Tonkaka’ among others. The musician has over 30 songs.
