THE VIDEO: Sejjiga – Maurice Kirya

There is sadness when you are experiencing a beautiful moment but realise you cannot hold onto it. You wish it could last forever. Yet, you must make a choice between enjoying it and wishing it could last forever. And that is Maurice Kirya’s Sejjiga video. It is a glimpse into something beautiful, something that lasts a short while.

It is the midas touch, the gold that comes out of simplicity. Because without much struggle, Maurice Kirya presents such a wonderful flow to the story. From the intro with a call into a radio station, to the strums on his guitar. And the happy listeners on the other side, from the radio presenter to the market vendor.

And he evokes emotions with scenes from a yoga session, with the two mirror reflections, it is a Kirya world. And the outdoor scene that evokes pensiveness. Could this video go on and on? It is the price we pay for sweetness, we cannot hold onto it!
