Richard Tuwangye
We know the situation with creatives has not yet stabilised after the pandemic but what comedian Richard Tuwangye did last week surprised us all.
The comedian was an emcee at a Tecno launch event but swallowed more than he could chew after exciting a reveller with a Shs50,000 tip after she screamed the loudest during a performance. Tuwangye got the money from his pocket but could not release it from his hands, coming up with excuse after excuse.
“Do you have change? Who gives out 50K just like that in this economy? Find change and I will give you 20K,” he told the lady.
He did the same to an artiste known as Bizzo, only this time promising him 10K but three hours later when the event was done, Tuwangye’s 50K was still intact and he left with it.
