The beauty queens
Patience Komuhangi Uwase from Elite High School was crowned Miss Teen and Asiimire Isabell Nyangoma from Immaculate Heart Girls’ School was chosen as Miss High School. For their triumph, they have both been given ambassadorial roles at Sumz, a company that deals in agro-food processing.
The brand ambassadors will represent the company in their respective schools and regions. Their contracts stipulate that they will be in these roles for a year. They will be evaluated based on their performance and if they succeed, stand a chance of getting jobs at the Nansana-based company.
The 1st runner-up Miss Teen Nakawoya Rian and Blessing Patience 1st runner-up Miss High School were recognized as well.
The winners were crowned during the annual Kilomo event at the Kati Kati Hotel a few weeks ago. Their reign will last for a year.
