If you do not believe one song can do wonders for you, ask Joshua Baraka, the hottest artiste in Uganda right now, thanks to his hit song, ‘Nana’. The song has been huge in that in less than six months, he has already released an acoustic version and a remix coming out soon. The remix has some interesting names, including Sauti Sol’s Bien, Nigeria’s Joeboy and a Ghanaian artiste called King Promise.
Usually we have heard that it is Ugandan artistes who ask for collaborations, especially from Nigerian artistes but the difference with Joshua Baraka is that it was the other way round.
“I cannot say I have promoted this song because it has moved on its own. People have embraced it and I am releasing the remix which has Joeboy, Bien and King Promise. They are the ones who asked to be on the remix and I thank God that the song is big everywhere else,” he said during a recent interview.
