We will forever appreciate and respect the “Big Three” – Cindy

For more than twenty years, Bobi Wine, Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool, have always been referred to as the ‘Big Three’ in the Ugandan music industry. However to some people, that entitlement has lived its course as they feel it is no longer about positions and if it was the case, some artistes have for long overtaken the above-mentioned.

However, Uganda Musicians Association president Cinderella Sanyu has come out and said that the industry should forever appreciate the three artistes because of their massive contribution to the industry.

“I don’t mind about the “Big Three”, I appreciate their effort in this industry. What you need to know is that they became stars during times that we wouldn’t have become stars so we will forever appreciate the “big three” because they created the showbiz that we are seeing today. They are responsible for professionalizing the industry, making artistes get paid as much as shs80 million in venue from shs70,” Cindy said recently.

The ‘Zalawo’ artiste further added that is because of those three that brands like MTN, and Airtel started investing in the industry so their legacies are here to stay.
