Vinka
After Zafarani’s release last week, Vinka is the second Swangz Avenue artiste to have a song released.
Titled ‘Bailando’, the song is a fusion of afro pop and dancehall, making it both smooth and danceable.
The three-minute and thirty-nine seconds song is a well-composed and sweet-sounding tune with Vinka’s deliberate use of vocalization, especially on the harmonies, channels the old masters and adds to the song’s charm.
‘Bailando’ was produced and written by Daddy Andre while Marvin Musoke, shot the visuals which feature scenes from the bedroom, supermarket, and party, with impressive choreography from Icy Sonia and Abi Charity leading the vixens.
This is Vinka’s first single dropped off this year and it’s already topping charts with streams on Global Streaming platforms including the biggest Hits playlist on Apple Music Today’s Hits.
The ‘Bailando‘ singer has been under Swangz Avenue’s management since 2016 and in 2018, she signed a long-term deal with Sony which retained Swangz Avenue for management.
