One of the things National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters have mastered is the art of attacking anyone they feel is against their beliefs.
Singer Hajara Namukwaya commonly known as Spice Diana has found herself at the receiving end of social media attacks after endorsing Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s Thanksgiving event.
The singer in a video endorsed Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s (MK) Thanksgiving event and confirms she will be performing at the event.
“On April 19, I will be in Kabale, I will join Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the special border-opening Thanksgiving guys there, it’s going to be amazing and I will perform all your favorite hits,” Spice Diana confirms.
However, her action has not been well received by some music fans especially supporters of National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.
Because of the political differences between MK and Bobi Wine’s camp Spice Diana’s will to perform has since been perceived as a betrayal by NUP diehards. They say she is the Nalumansi Bobi Wine sings about in his latest song.
It should be noted that Spice Diana has been one of NUP’s favorite artistes as she once helped the party president to repatriate stranded Ugandans from the UAE.
Among the other places Spice Diana is set to perform at during the Easter holiday is Dubai and because of the video, some Ugandans in Dubai are daring her to go there saying she isn’t welcome there anymore.
Meanwhile, Spice Diana is unbothered by the rants and doesn’t see anything special with performing at Muhoozi’s event. She says singing is her job and the show is one of the eight shows she has to perform during the Easter holiday.
