Finally, Mukasa Mbidde, a member of the East African Legislative Assembly yesterday wedded his sweetheart, Phiona Nayebale.
The couple said their ‘I dos’ at Uganda Martyrs Basilica, Munyonyo before heading to the reception at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa hotel.
Among the guests at this wedding include Finance state minister Haruna Kasolo who was also the best man to the groom among others.
Before the wedding, Mbidde was introduced to Nayebale’s family back in 2019 in Luwero district where he was required to bring 20 cows and shs10M as the bride price according to several sources.
The politician, lawyer, human rights activist, and motivational speaker was previously married to Susan Namaganda, the former Woman MP for Bukomansimbi District who passed on in a road accident on the Kampala-Masaka highway in 2015.
