The 29th edition of Blankets and Wine is happening at the end of this month at Cricket Oval and this year’s edition will feature a new house music stage-the sound lab that will cater to afro house, deep house, Amapiano, and Kwaito music lovers.
“Blankets and Wine is excited to introduce this new feature-The Sound Lab, for an all-around unfiltered experience of the house music genre. We can’t wait to vibe and groove at this 29th edition,” said Lahm Mukundeta, PR officer HOuse of DJs at the recently concluded Blankets and Wine press conference.
Besides that, this edition is going to have performances from several artistes. Performing for the second time in Uganda, the acclaimed South African star Casper Nyovest is set to perform alongside Sol Generation’s Bensoul, Rwanda’s soul singer Mike Kaihura, and our very own Joshua Baraka, Azawi, and more for the perfect afro house music experience.
“I can guarantee you that I am going to be bringing fire on that stage. It is going to be my first time performing so expect the best of me,” said Azawi during the presser.
The quarterly Tusker Cider-sponsored festival has become a staple event in Uganda’s entertainment scene garnering huge crowds and delivering top-notch experiences.
