Swangz Avenue artistes
Last year we reported that Swangz Avenue was contemplating on having a joint concert this year that would include all their artistes but it seems there has been a change in plan.
Before the label could come up with the date, the organisers of the Ice Cream and Cake Festival decided to scoop the idea. We have learnt that the return of the festival that last happened three years ago, thanks to Covid-19 lockdown, is returning big with all five of the Swangz artistes; Winnie Nwagi, Azawi, Vinka, Elijah Kitaka and Zafaran on the same stage for the first time.
This surprised us and when we asked around for how much it cost to book all the artistes, the only info we gathered is that the festival organisers had to fork out about Shs20 million.
