Adam Mulwana’s political friends finally respond to his outcry

Adam Mulwana

Revolution music singer Adam Mulwana has finally been heard and attended to by his political friends who he says had deserted him.

In an interview with YouTuber Rogers Ssebunya alias SB4 media, Mulwana disclosed that he had been allegedly poisoned by a fan through a piece of pizza.

He suspects to have been drugged by a female fan from America who had called him, seeking to appreciate his then-recent song “Bobi Wine is good”. Mulwana says he met the woman at the agreed place and she was in the company of two children between aged 4 and 5 years.

“They had eaten half of it so she asked me to taste the pizza and see if it was good enough to take to my children. After taking a bite, one of the children tried to have some more but was stopped by the woman. The pizza was good so I ordered for my children, we talked a bit and she gave me USD 300 but never shared her contact because she had just come into the country and had no line,” he said.
He explained that he started feeling extra warm and excessively sweating.

It was not before long when the headache started which was followed by too much coldness. Mulwana says that he first suspected the symptoms to be from obesity so he started working out until when he got hit by malaria.

“I went to a medical centre in Kabowa for a medical checkup and the doctor said I had complicated malaria. He treated me with a drip but that could not stop the sweating. After a week at the hospital, I was checked and the doctor confirmed that I was malaria free but that did not stop my situation from getting worse. My feet started swelling and I started to shrink. Friends advised that I get my kidney checked and the results were negative,” he said.

He later went for another checkup and it was discovered that he had been poisoned. The poison was eating up his liver and the doctor advised that he gets strong medication for quick recovery.

Mulwana who made a name by singing Dr Kiiza Besigye’s song of Tooka Kwa Barabara explained that ever since hell broke loose, his political friend Erias Lukwago stopped picking up his calls, Dr Kiiza Besigye blue ticks him and Bobi Wine had made a move of help. It had always been singer Haruna Mubiru aiding him and a few other foot soldiers.

After the public outcry, FDC National Vice Chairperson, Mr Ronald Kiganda visited the sick man at his home in Luweero and the party promised to stand with him until he gets back on his feet. The National Unity Platform (NUP) entourage led by the party president Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine also reached out to Mulwana by paying him a visit at his home recently.
