Should Wes Brown have borrowed a leaf from Hakimi?

Combo: Ex-Man Utd and England star Wes Brown 43 and Achraf Hakimi

Ex-Man Utd and England star Wes Brown 43, a few days ago declared bankruptcy after leaving almost all his life in a glittering lifestyle.
Wes declared bankruptcy after his marriage ended and his company reportedly collapsed. The former Manchester star secretly separated with his estranged wife, Leanne in 2019 before he moved out of their home.
While some football fans are cursing Leanne for taking all his hard earned money and accumulated property, others say he should have read from the book of the great Achraf Hakimi and applied the Hakimi’s principle because even what should have been left after the divorce is gone.

Declaring bankruptcy does not exclude Wes from paying alimony and child support for his three daughters but, most of his debts are likely to be cancelled at the end of the bankruptcy which usually lasts for one year.
Ugandan football fans have advised Wes to apply Hakimi’s principal immediately he gets into the next relationship.
Hakimi’s principal is putting all your assets in your mother’s name to deny your partner/ proposed ex a juicy divorce settlement.
Unfortunately, Wes had no idea about the principal at the time of his divorce as he recently told an international news website that filing for bankruptcy is like the feeling of not being able to look forward to anything.

“All the money I’ve earned, I can’t get a mortgage. Financially, I have no future. The hurt of that. I can’t own anything. Everything’s gone. If you get the wrong people advising you, it all haemorrhages, it all dwindles. It has got to the point where bankruptcy is a relief. It means I can just live again,” he said.

Bankruptcy is a legal status that usually lasts for a year and can be a way to clear debts you can’t pay. When you’re bankrupt, your non-essential assets and excess income are used to pay off your creditors. At the end of the bankruptcy, most debts are cancelled.
