Singer Joseph Mayanja, also known as Jose Chameleone proved his critics wrong when he held a successful concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala. Postponed on February 19 after a heavy downpour brought down the main stage, the singer promised to come back with a bang. And he did.
In most aspects, the Gwanga Mujje concert lived up to its billing with an eclectic live performance that left fans yearning for more.
Jose Chameleone who was marking 20 years in the music industry did not make any mistake putting up a two-decade worth work to display with a one-man exhibition that lasted four and a half hours of live music on the night of February 24, 2023, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, biggest known venue for music concerts in Kampala.
Chameleone however did not take all the credit for the successful concert but rather credited his media team and heaped praise on his Public Relations and Communications manager and publicist Stuart Kagoro for a job well done.
“…a special thanks to my media team especially my publicist Kagoro who has done everything in his might to preach the gospel of this concert. The team has worked tirelessly to make this happen and am certain the gospel of this success will go far after tonight…,” he said.
Jose Chameleone appointed Stuart Kagoro as his publicist in 2017 and has since been his right-hand man.
