Jose Chameleone visits Speaker Among

Singer Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone a few months ago revealed that he will be holding his ‘Ggwanga Mujje’ on February 10, 2023, at Cricket Oval Lugogo.

Since the official announcement, the singer has been up and down promoting the concert. Last week, he visited the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga at his office in Bulange – Mengo and today, the ‘Forever’ singer earlier today visited the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda Hon Anita Among, and going by the Speaker’s tweet after the meeting, it was a pleasant one noting that Jose Chameleone is a Living Legend.

“Artists like @JChameleone have over the years made a huge contribution to marketing our Country, giving employment opportunities, and entertaining the Country.I join the rest of the Country in celebrating this living legend and wish him the very best in the Gwanga Mujje concert,” she tweeted.

Chameleone has been topping charts since the early 2000s when he broke out with the hit single ‘Mama Mia’.

He quite a number of hit songs including ‘Mambo Bado’, ‘Jamila’, ‘Kipepeo’, ‘Bageya’, ‘Shida za Dunia’, ‘Bayuda’ and ‘Njo Karibu’ among others.
