Karole Kasita spoke highly of Cindy after they release of their collaboration Mwotto.
She said Cindy embraced her when she joined the live band music and used to attend her shows.
“When I got my breakthrough song ‘Yaka’ she gave me my next song, Mwoto, a collaboration to push me forward,” Kasita said.
That is how much she values that collaboration and promised herself that she would pass on the same attitude towards other artistes who would need her services in the near future.
Laygacy happens to be that one artiste who Kasita has given a chance on his Fronto jam that has just been released.
The two were linked together by Joram Lukisa. Laygacy, real name Peter Alexander Yiga, described Kasita as a talented, down to earth person that is why she was the perfect person for the collabo.
“Karole Kasita has that dancehall touch that makes songs interesting, so our love for dancehall inspired this song,” Laygacy said about this jam.
The promising artiste uses his trademark wordplay as he weaves his lyrics in, lavishing praise on Karole Kasita, who he is madly in love with.
The two effortlessly complement each other while riding the beautiful adlib. They go back and forth in playful romantic banter in a mix of Luganda and English.
The dancehall tune was produced by Nessim, one of Uganda’s best producers.
