Bobi Wine tips tiktokers as Asia is laid to rest

Rest In Peace Asia

Renowned TikToker Asia Namirembe, 36, alias ‘Asia wa Charles’ was Sunday laid to rest at her ancestral grounds in Nakasoga village, Kirumba sub-county in Kyotera District.

The burial ceremony attracted fellow TikTokers who eulogized her as a very friendly person.

Mr Frank Abaho, the President of TikTokers Association in Uganda, appreciated all TikTokers who gave in their time and other resources to have a decent sendoff ceremony for their colleague.

The event was graced by celebrities from all walks of life.

National Unity Platform’s Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine who happens to be a classmate and a village-mate to the deceased tipped TikTokers on how they can utilize their platforms to raise important information.

“TikTok is not only for fun, you are influential people who can change this world, use the platform appropriately,” he urged.

Charles who was a close friend of Asia used the opportunity to clear the air on the love affair allegations between him and Asia.

He said the deceased was his workmate with whom they were doing content despite their wedding stunt that went viral on social media.

About two years ago, Asia rose to fame with the assistance of Roger Ssebunya, owner of SB4 media, who gave her a platform.

The fallen TikToker gained public attention after an alleged affair with Charles, with whom they have been moving together all the time.

Her death

Asia developed a stomachache for some time and the situation became severe last week and was admitted to Mulago National Specialised hospital where she had an operation which was successful, but unfortunately breathed her last, a few hours after the operation.
