D#Maestroz band leaps into 2023 on a high

D#Maestroz band during a performance

Last year will be one D#Maestroz band will look back at and be grateful for, as it is one that saw them go from strength to strength. The band first showed up on the business end of the entertainment scene in August at a B2C concert before displaying a memorable act Levixone’s ‘Mbeera the Genesis’ concert in Kololo in November. By the time they were part of Sheeba’s December concert at Kampala Serena Hotel, the signs showed they were something special in the making.

Such exploits have won the band admirers and new fans every other day with many following them around town to catch a glimpse of them doing their thing. Nights at Karibu grill, Bugolobi on Thursdays, Drew and Jacks on Tuesdays, and X-hub on Sundays.

They wrapped up last year with another epic performance at the Pearl of Africa New Year Celebrations (PANYC) supported by the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development. Their original compositions of the band’s forthcoming album, Denno on the Bass guitar, like “Sunshine”, acoustic guitarist Splash Ela’s “Would you come”, Tracy Noels’ “Zoom Zoom”, Daniel Kaweesi’s  “Nebwonfunyanfunya” and Elmimo’s “Survivor” completed the band’s session on stage. Backed up by Augustine Mukisa on the drums, and Emma Byamukisa on the keys, D#Maestroz have found a leap in their step and will be one the bands to look out for this year.
