Street Fashion Show season 1 impresses

The first edition of the Street Fashion Show organized by Wardz Group Limited happened a few days ago at the International University of East Africa.

The event was fully attended by university students and the showcases by the different designers were impressive. They had everyone in the audience on tenterhooks.

Themed ‘every day is fashion, the event started at 6 pm with a live band performance as guests arrived and took their respective seats.

At 8 pm, models came along the walkway with styles of clothes designed for different days. Some showcased casual clothes, others came dressed in religious clothes while other designers opted to showcase clothes for different other occasions.

Termed in streets, the first showcase had models on street 1 clad in saloon wear with RNB, Street 2 had a bank theme wear mixed with Rnb and HipHop and then street 3 consisted of Christianity and Islamic wear.

The event however got more interesting with the children’s showcase. Their street fashion wear took the show to another level. The children got revelers cheering and shouting on top of their voices with their displays, catwalk, and confidence.

The CEO of Wardz group limited, Ms Julie Solberg who was the guest of Honor at the event, appreciated Nunu Warda and Aruman Ismail Wardz for the creativity and effort they put into this event and also thanked the youth for their creativity, professionalism, and patience.

With the success of this event, the organizers are considering the street fashion show to be an annual event.
