Wembley Mo’s contribution to Uganda’s entertainment industry is big but the role he plays in the lives of over 150 children is immense.
Wembley through his Wembley Mo foundation has teamed up with Kazi travel world consultancy to organize an entertainment event that will have proceeds going back to his foundation.
In a press conference that happened earlier on at Kati Kati where the event is going to happen on the 17th of this month, Wembley together with the team from Kazi travel pointed out the problems that his foundation is facing and what kind of help they need.
“This is an opportunity to seek help. We are up and running but we are overwhelmed. We need a lot of stuff for these kids. They need bedding, feeding, and shelter,” said Wembley.
His foundation has over 150 kids they are looking after and in his two-bedroomed household, 56 children are sleeping in there with him.
Ever since Wembley broke out as a dancer, he has been taking in kids of different ages and tribes who have shown interest in dancing.
“Some approach me at events after performances, some are dropped off at my home with papers to help them. I train and feed them but I am limited and I need help, Wembley cried out.
Charges for ‘the corporates and family fun day’ event are going to be 20k general and 50k VIP while children below ten years will enter free of charge.
