Ali Kiba
Despite having simmered down for a while, the beef between Tanzanian sensations Diamond Platnumz and Ali Kiba has reignited yet again! King Kiba is furious after Wasafi managers shunned him on their lists of top artistes of 2022, and he insists they did it intentionally to provoke him to respond.
Just like Bebe Cool’s list causes chaos in the music industry every New Year, the lists by Wasafi Label managers Sallam SK and Babu Tale have made Ali Kiba lose his cool. Sallam only put him in position seven, and Tale did not include him at all in his version of the Top 10 list. The managers also put Harmonize in position ten and seven respectively; and even though Konde Boy just laughed it off, Kiba was not ready to stay silent. He went to his Instagram to rant,
“I think y’all have already been known, to always try to force reactions from others so that you can function; such that your things can get attention. I wanted to tell [Harmonize] not to reply to y’all because you shall have got what you want, but unfortunately, he hasn’t yet found out your ways, so he responded. But for me, I know y’all very well. I no longer bother responding.”
He added, “I know even what I am saying right now will also help you because I am your KING. You even had a meeting to rank and discuss artistes. Who are you? I will talk after your New Years’ show is done.
Okay, I guess I have responded to you as you wanted, so have a nice show.”
The post received mixed reactions, with some arguing that everyone has a right to their own opinion, and others maintaining that such people are opinion leaders in the industry and that whatever they say is considered a valid, unbiased statement.
